Get ready to ride until you can't ride any more at the annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival!

Hitting up the Midway with all the rides and games is one of the many highlights of the Fall Festival. As over the last several years, the bigger rides will surround the West Branch Library between 10th Street and Wabash Avenue of Flags, while the rides designed for the smaller riders will occupy the parking lot next to Schmitty's Italian Steakhouse. But, they won't run continuously, so if you were thinking about taking the kids down first thing in the morning when the Festival opens at 10:00 a.m. to try and get a jump on the crowd, you'll need to adjust your plan.

In a press release provided on Wednesday, the Nut Club announced this year's rides will run on the following schedule:

  • Sunday October 1st – Kiddie rides only in Acorn Plaza from 1 PM to 7 PM. Tickets only.
  • Monday October 2nd through Thursday October 5th – All rides open from 2 PM to 10 PM.
  • Friday October 6th – All rides open from 11 AM to 10:30 PM
  • Saturday October 7th – All rides open from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM

This year's Midway will feature 33 different rides including favorites the Zipper, the Giant Ferris Wheel, and the Ring of Fire.

Tickets will be $1.25 each or $25 for a sheet of 22, and will be available at tickets booths located within the Midway, as well as the middle of the intersection of 10th and Franklin.

Unlimited ride wristbands will also be available at all booths for $20 each. However you still have time to purchase them in advance wristbands for only $17 at all Donut Bank, Schnuck's, and Old National Bank locations.
