OH NO…. NOT SKYMALL

Skymall has been that little magazine on the plane in the pocket of the back of the seat in front of you for decades.  I'm not exactly positive how long it's been there, but it's a pretty long time! It's sad to say that this book (full of things you never really needed in the first place, but really want anyway) is filing for bankruptcy. 

I remember the first time I feasted my eyes on a SkyMall Magazine, I was beside myself with the things some people come up with. It made a two-hour flight from Columbus, Ohio to Manchester, Massachusetts seem like a hop, skip, and a jump.   I can't exactly remember what I saw, but I remember it being spectacular.  ABC even has a list of the top ten things we never needed that you can find below.

They say that it's been a long time coming.  Basically... people just don't buy from catalogs anymore.  Why would you, when you have things like... Amazon or eBay right at your fingertips?
