Over The Edge with MentorKids KY (Shaped by Faith)

My radio guests Berly Tillman Sullivan, Executive Director of MentorKids Ky and Maria Thompson Shyver, Mentor Coordinator had some exciting news to share on Shaped by Faith.

They announced their upcoming fundraiser for Mentorkids KY that has not been done in our area ever before. Participants raising money for Mentorkids will get to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rappel Over The Edge of a local high-rise building, the Hampton Inn located on the River in Downtown Owensboro. Over The Edge is a special events company that provide signature events for non-profit organizations all over the world. Their professional team will set up the event as an industrial work site and adhere to all National and State OSHA laws. Participants will receive onsite training at the event.

So......Million Dollar Questsion~Is it Safe? YES! Over The Edge has had over 500 successful participants and safety is their top priority!

Special VIP Ky Governor Matt Bevin will kick off the event by going Over The Edge!

You don't want to miss this once in a lifetime bucket list event!

You can participate: Rappel as an individual, Rappel as a team, Toss your boss, Toss your Pastor, Toss your Coach, Toss whoever as long as they are at least 100 pounds and weigh under 300 lbs.

When.....Where....What time?

Friday, August 26th 5:00 PM Governor Matt Bevin will go Over The Edge, then everyone else will get a turn!

Saturday, August 27th 7:30 AM Men's Mass Community Choir will perform and host breakfast. 9:00 Governor Matt Bevin and a family member will go Over The Edge. Then watch over 90 other participants rappel.
