Owensboro Air Show Friday Night Activities Cancelled

I was afraid of this. The wet fall weather has stepped in and rained on our aerial parade for Friday night.

We just got word that due to inclement weather, activities planned at the airport for Friday night as part of the Owensboro Air Show have been cancelled.

The B-17 bomber will still be on display between 4PM and 6:30PM, but all aerial displays will need to be sidelined for Friday evening.

However, the big events for the weekend are still scheduled to occur, so keep those plans to be on the riverfront from 1-4PM Saturday and Sunday.

And don't forget about the bridge walk which begins tomorrow morning and lasts until the show begins at 1.
