Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition, Inc. & Owensboro Health are offering a free ZEROSuicide Information Session on Monday afternoon.

I've lost friends to suicide through the years and it's such a helpless feeling. You always think about what you could have done to help. Could you have stopped it? Why did they feel so helpless that they thought this was the only way out? The CDC reports that there's one death by suicide in the U.S. every 12.3 minutes. This is not acceptable and there's help available.

The ZEROSuicide initiative is a commitment to suicide prevention in healthcare and behavioral health settings. It is a specific set of tools and strategies used to improve outcomes and prevent suicide deaths in patients under medical care.

Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition, Inc. & Owensboro Health are offering a free ZEROSuicide Information Session on Monday, April 10th from 1p-4p.

Registration isn’t required and the session will be held in the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Auditorium.
