This is exciting and fun news.  Owensboro is one of the ten cities selected to be featured in a new music marketing effort to bring international music fans to the USA!

According to Visit Owensboro, Visit the USA is in Owensboro this week to film a music- themed campaign.  Naturally, Owensboro was selected because of its ties to the world of Bluegrass and the fact that the city is home to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

Owensboro joins cities like Las Vegas, Miami, New Orleans, Austin, West Hollywood and Detroit.  That's some pretty darn good company!

The new Visit the USA campaign will be distributed on GoUSATv as well as social media, the Visit the USA website, on-line video and other digital venues.  This campaign is dedicated to  llowing international audiences to view the USA through the lens of music.  And we're thrilled to know that Owensboro is going to be featured!
