3 Dead and 1 Injured After Shooting in Moreland Park Area

Owensboro Police confirm that there are three people dead and one still injured in the hospital after the shooting in the 900 block of Audubon Ave. in Owensboro.

OPD just released this statement about the shooting.

On Thursday, January 17, 2019 officers responded to the 900blk of Audubon Ave. in reference to a homicide investigation. Upon arrival officers located two individuals deceased and two injured which were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in critical condition. Since arriving at the hospital one of the critically injured parties has succumbed to their injuries. Detectives and evidence collection are on-scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Officials with the Owensboro Police Department are unable to confirm any additional details at this time. Initial reports are that multiple people are involved. The coroner is on the scene at this time.
