Owensboro Police Investigating Shooting Incident in Towne Square Mall Parking Lot

Early Sunday morning, at around 2AM, Owensboro police responded to a call regarding a firearm discharge at Towne Square Mall.

According to release from the OPD, there was a large gathering in the east parking lot of the mall when the gun was discharged.

Detectives are searching multiple persons of interest.

One adult male, 25-year-old Khiry Morris of Rogers, Arkansas, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left leg and was being treated at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
