Two adult males have been charged by the Owensboro Police Department in connection with eight theft cases and one burglary arrest, according to an OPD press release.

On Friday, November 20th, the Evansville Police Department informed Owensboro police that James A. Hatfield and Mark L. Hatfield were arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

There were items in the vehicle connected to Owensboro theft cases from the Lake Forest, Heartlands, and Brooks subdivisions.

In addition, the ongoing investigation has led to the recovery of more property in Ohio and Warren Counties.

Both suspects are currently lodged in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center and will be facing additional charges that relate to the Owensboro cases.
