Monica Wooldridge of Owensboro is on a mission.  Sometime within the last six months, WWII medals that were issued to her grandfather were stolen.  And she is desperate to find them.

Here's a list of the medals that were taken-

According to Monica, her grandfather's medals were reissued from the military 15 years ago are in relatively new condition. They may have plastic over the medals and be in boxes. The cases are new as well.
Monica's grandfather, George Francis Crabtree, would have been 92-years-old this year.   He served during WWII and fought against the Nazis in Italy and France. He was a Purple Heart Veteran and received the Bronze Star for Valor.  Monica says, "He was the best man I ever knew."
Monica says the medals were stolen from a lock box and she has been looking for them since.  And now she has taken her search to social media and we're helping her spread the word.
If you have any information about her grandfather's missing medals, please contact Monica Wooldridge through her Facebook page.  Or call her at 270-929-2732.  Monica is also offering a $500 no questions asked reward for the return of the medals.
