There are CROP Hunger Walks all over the country and their aim is to end hunger one step at a time.

The Owensboro/Daviess County CROP Hunger Walk begins this Sunday, September 17th at 2PM at the GRADD at 300 GRADD Way.

Participants will walk the three-mile west trail of the Greenbelt that leads to Parrish Avenue and then back to GRADD.

The three-mile distance is significant because, according to Crossroads Inc, this is the average distance that millions of people the world over have to walk to get clean water they can bring back to their villages or communities.

Water and cooling stations will be set up along the walk and all the proceeds will benefit Crossroads Inc.
