Owensboro’s Jenny Beth Willis Sings National Anthem at Cards Game

Cross this one off the bucket list!  Yesterday, Jenny Beth Willis of Owensboro had the incredible opportunity to perform the National Anthem at KFC Yum! Center.  According to Jenny Beth, it's something that she has wanted to do since she was a little girl.  And, as her mom accurately described it, her performance was a "slam dunk"!  Watch!

Over 20,000 fans were on hand as #9 UNC took out the #15 Louisville Cardinals 79 to 69!  Those same fans were treated to Jenny Beth's awesome rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Willis, who has spent her entire life performing, has enjoyed many moments in the spotlight . . . including an appearance on American Idol.  She is currently studying at the University School of Law.  She's a first-year student and is ranked 35th in a class of 130.  According to her mom, Mary Beth, Jenny Beth is considering a career in Intellectual Property Law, which would ultimately bring her back to the music industry.
