Owensboro’s Red, White, & Blue Picnic Set for Thursday October 27th

It's one of Owensboro's best traditions and it gives folks a chance to meet the candidates for whom they'll be casting their votes on November 8th.

It's the Red, White, & Blue Picnic and it's scheduled for this Thursday, October 27th, at the People's Square on the lawn of the Daviess County Courthouse downtown.

It will be a great opportunity for supporters to meet United States Senator Rand Paul and his Democrat challenger, Lexington mayor Jim Gray.

Both will speak, as will all other state House candidates, with the exception of Jim Gooch.

The non-partisan, family event is hosted by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce.

AT&T is the presenting sponsor.

The Red, White, & Blue picnic is the culmination of the Chamber's GO Vote!!! campaign.

So make plans now to come down to the courthouse lawn this Thursday afternoon and meet your candidates.

Owensboro's mayor, City Commission candidates, and Daviess County Family Court candidates will also be on hand.

The event begins at 4PM.
