Parking Lot Maintenance Underway at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital

If you are headed to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in the next few weeks, be advised that a major parking lot maintenance project is underway.

A major asphalt maintenance project is set to begin the afternoon of Tuesday, September 5, 2017.  According to officials from the hospital, all asphalt surfaces at facility will undergo resealing and re-striping.

Weather permitting, the project will take approximately two and half weeks to complete. Crews will be working daily from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m to minimize impact on traffic during normal business hours. Newly sealed surfaces will need 24 hours to dry and be striped.

Keep in mind, patients, visitors and employees should expect detours and closures on the Owensboro Health campus. And motorists are advised to "respect cones and barricades" to ensure the safety of work crews.

Also, please note that the Emergency Department and Maternity Services areas will continue to be accessible during the resurfacing project.
