PorchFest in Owensboro Now Accepting Artist Submissions for 2023

SAVE THE DATE! PorchFest is coming back to Owensboro, Kentucky on June 10th of 2023. And, believe it or not, the event's organizers, Andy Brasher and Tamarra Miller, are about to get work selecting next year's featured performers. It's not an easy task either. They screen hundreds of submissions for each festival and that process is about to get back underway.

Each year, PorchFest welcomes dozens of artists on stages (a.k.a. porches) along Griffith Avenue here in Owensboro. It's a great afternoon and evening of live music, food trucks and fun. Various homeowners essentially turn over their porches and front yards to the festival and music fans bring their bag chairs and friends to enjoy the music and atmosphere.

PorchFest has become a widely popular event in town and, if you're a singer or a member of a band, it's a great opportunity to have your music heard by the entire community. Some fans set up shop at one stage. Many others wander from stage to stage to get a sample of everyone featured at the event.

So, if you're interested in taking the stage at PorchFest OBKY 2023, here's what you need to do.

If you or someone you know is interested in performing at the 2023 PorchFest here in Owensboro, make note. There's a simple registration form that allows you to link to videos of live performances and/or samples of your music. Entries will be accepted starting Saturday, October 1st, 2022. Just note, according to PorchFest OBKY organizers: Playing prior years' PorchFest does not guarantee a spot for 2023.  If chosen, you will be notified via email in January of 2023.
