Powerful Tribute to Fallen Hopkinsville Police Officer [Video]

This is powerful and important.  In the wake of last week's tragic shooting death of a Hopkinsville, Kentucky police officer, Muhlenberg County Sheriff Curtis McGehee wrote a poem called "Officer Down."  Courtney Peveler, a young singer/songwriter from Central City, took those words and put them to music.  Take a listen.

Officer Phillip Meacham was murdered last Thursday evening.  He leaves behind a wife, two young children and a respected legacy of law enforcement.
