Police Awareness Day at the Owensboro Police Department is always a blast for a variety of reasons. One of the big ones is all the equipment they have on display that we don't get to see very much, if at all, thankfully.

This past Saturday, I also got to see a seatbelt safety demonstration that scarily detailed what can happen to you if you are not buckled up and your car rolls.

Miles Miller, who was conducting the demo, told me that rollovers typically occur when a vehicle is traveling between 45 and 70 miles per hour.

THIS demonstration was set at 15 mph and look what happened:
