September Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance Meetings

The Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance meetings schedule for September have been announced. The Neighborhood Alliances keep citizens in direct contact with the city. This program encourages local participation in neighborhood events and in creating a safe, peacefull environment in each of Owensboro's unique communities.

Working together, neighbors can accomplish a lot. The following are some of the issues Neighborhood Alliances may pursue:

Organizing a neighborhood cleanup.
Hosting Block Parties.
Developing Ordinances that affect neighbors.
Organizing Neighborhood Watch Groups.
Studying zoning issues.
Improving parks facilities.
Preserving Neighborhood history.
Providing feedback

Audubon Bon Harbor Area Alliance – 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12 at Audubon Church of Nazarene.
Shifley-York Neighborhood Alliance – 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13 at Lewis Lane Baptist Church.
Hillcrest Area Alliance – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13 at the Owensboro Christian Church Community Room.
