For 15 years, Jamie Coyne and his wife have organized the Socks for Seniors program. The annual community project is self-explanatory. It aims to provide new socks to seniors during the holidays.

The socks are gifted in a decorated box and delivered to nursing homes in communities around the country.

Former President George H.W. Bush has voiced his support for Socks for Seniors and has even sent them HIS socks! That's awesome!

Coyne and his wife are looking to expand the program into the Owensboro area and they've reached out to WBKR to spread the word.
