Statewide Tornado Drill Today In Kentucky

As part of the governor's "Severe Weather Awareness Week" in Kentucky, the state will hold a statewide tornado drill this morning around 10am EST/9am CST.

Throughout the state, outdoor warning sirens will sound, weather alert radios will activate, and television and radio stations will broadcast the alert; allowing the public the opportunity to practice tornado safety.

Today is a great day to review you and your family's plans for safety in case a tornado strikes the area.
