As you recall, a recent WalletHub study found Kentucky to be the worst state to retire in, however, another study finds Daviess County the best place in the state to retire.

The study from 24/7 Wall Street names the following factors in determining the best place to retire in each state.

-Health, meaning the number of medical professionals per capita, the presence of social institutions, and the factors that promote healthier living.

-Economic factors include the median home value, the monthly cost of living for two people with no children, and the state-local tax burden as a share of state income.

Daviess County ranks 73rd out of 120 counties with 16.2 percent of citizens 65 or older.
