The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around.  Here’s a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!

The Henderson Riverfront will host a huge celebration for the 4th!  Food booths will open at 5:30 with kids entertainment and activities starting at 6pm!  For the older crowd, Kieth Vincent takes the stage at 7pm and the whole family will enjoy the fireworks at 9pm!  Sponsored by Independence Bank.

Thousands of people will gather at Dress Plaza on the Ohio riverfront to watch the fireworks display in Evansville on July 4th.  The Thunder and Lightening Fireworks show will start at 9pm.  As always, this fun family event is FREE!

Starting at 6, stroll along the streets of historic downtown Newburgh and picnic or grab a meal from any of the nonprofit vendors along the street!  At 7:15, sit back in your lawn chair and watch the Explorer Scout Aviation Troupe loop through the sky and then at 9, it’s time for fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July!  (rain date July 6th)

You’re invited to gather at English Park at the Owensboro Riverfront for fireworks shot from a barge on the river!  Fireworks begin at 9:15, accompanied by the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. Gates open at 6.

Enjoy a day at the 157th Gibson County fair and then stroll down to the 4H fairground to watch the Fireworks!  One of the biggest and longest fireworks displays around, the Princeton fireworks are truly a sight to see and free to the public!  Fireworks start at dusk at the 4H fairgrounds.
