TLC Reality Show Star Arrested in Greenville

One of the stars of the TLC reality show, The Willis Family, was arrested Friday in Greenville, Kentucky.

KTLA/Los Angeles reports that 46-year-old Toby Willis, the family patriarch, has been charged with one count of rape of a child due to an alleged sexual encounter that happened 12 years ago.

Willis is currently being held without bond in a Greenville jail.

Last month, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations began looking into the case and had gathered information that Willis had had this encounter approximately 12 years ago with an underage female.

While the case is "active and ongoing," the Bureau would offer no further details about the alleged crime.

The Willis Family is based in Nashville and TBI agents say that Toby Willis traveled to Kentucky to avoid arrest.

Willis will be extradited to Cheatham County, Tennessee and will be jailed there without bond.
