At this point, we all know that we can't take certain things onto a plane in our luggage. No liquids larger than 3 ounces. No knives or anything resembling a knife. No tasers.  You know - the usual. But did you know that inert mortar shells probably (definitely) should not be packed in your luggage? If you didn't know this, don't feel too bad. Apparently a traveler passing through Evansville Regional Airport recently didn't know either! The TSA shared a photo of the antique bombshell on their Instagram. According to the TSA:

Inert ordnance can lead to costly evacuations, delays, and missed flights while explosives professionals determine whether the item is inert or actual live ordnance.

There's no word on whether or not the traveler will face any fines or not but I bet they think twice before they try to smuggle another mortar into a plane!
