I know I've said before and I'm saying it again. I LOVE bad movies! I'm an avid Mystery Science Theater 3000 and RiffTrax fan. Last year, my buddy Wesley Johnson at the Daviess Co. Public Library put together the first "SchlockOrama" series. It was so much fun, the Library is kicking it up a notch this year by teaming with the Theater Workshop of Owensboro to present "SchlockOrama: A Tribute to Cult Cinema" at the Trinity Theater on the first Tuesday of every month beginning in September!

The first movie showing this Tuesday, September 1st at 7:00 p.m. is the crazy 80's ninja, music filled farce Miami Connection (Rated R). Here's a clip (NSFW!)

Future movies, October 6th, a film Oscar-winner Tom Hanks would like to forget, Mazes and Monsters (Rated PG), November 3rd, my personal favorite Gymkata (Rated R), December 1st, the notoriously bad Birdemic (NR), and showing January 5th, Erithe Viking (Rated PG-13). All movies start at 7:00 p.m.

Admission is just $5.00 and you can purchase tickets in advance HERE. Come on! Kurt Thomas in Gymkata?!?
