UK forward, and emerging sharpshooter, Derek Willis was arrested Saturday night in Union, Kentucky--just a few miles south of Cincinnati--and was found "laying in the middle of the street" at the time of the bust.

That's what the arrest citation said, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

A Boone County, Kentucky sheriff found Willis at 4:57AM Saturday just outside the open door of a vehicle.

Willis confessed to the sheriff that he'd had a lot to drink and was then arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and spent the next several hours in jail before his $50 bail was posted and he was released.

A spokesperson for the University of Kentucky indicated the school's awareness of the situation but said that no further comment would made until it was deemed necessary that one needed to be made.

Willis will turn 21 next week.
