UPDATE: OPD Believes Suspect Has Changed His Appearance [PHOTO]
The Owensboro Police Department has now secured an arrest warrant for the suspect in the recent Werner Avenue shooting. Authorities have circulated his photo but believe he may have changed his appearance.
OPD is looking for Antonio C. Douglas, who is wanted for the charge of Assault, 1st Degree in connection with a Werner Avenue shooting here in Owensboro. Since circulating his photo, detectives believe Douglas has attempted to change his appearance by cutting away his braids and trimming his facial hair short.

Department responded to the 300 block of Hale Avenue in reference to a
shooting call. During the initial investigation, officers located the shooting victim, Victoria A.
McFarland, 31, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her right arm.
Officers discovered that the shooting had occurred shortly before the 9-1-1 call
at a residence in the 1100 block of Werner Avenue. McFarland was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment and officers have been looking for Douglas since.
