Since Friday was the last day to submit Christmas Wish letters, we'll shift direction and focus on donations and letter adoptions. With over 1,200 letters to fill, we need donations and families to come in, read letters and help those in need this holiday season!

We only have a few days left to be sure all Christmas Wish letters are granted and we need your help. The needs are great, the stories are sad and many need us this holiday season. The most needed items can be found HERE.

All stories unique. The needs are different. You can help!

Many are struggling mothers who work minimum wage jobs, receive no child support, attend college and are just trying to keep their head above water.

Some have lost a parent to illness and now one parent is left behind to up the pick pieces and just need some love, understanding and help during the holidays.

Grandparents often step up and take custody of their grandchildren when their parents can't provide any longer. They're older and on a fixed income and the added expense during the holidays will stretch their budget too much.

This week we need to get letters filled, so we need help in these ways:

1. Come by the Towne Square Mall in Owensboro and drop off new toys, teen boys, teen girls and baby items are most in need. We can really use any toys for good boys and girls this holiday season!

2. We still need hams or turkeys as there are hundreds of food baskets we still need to put together.

3. Monetary donations will help so much if you can. You can drop those off at the Towne Square Mall in Owensboro please. It would be a HUGE help for sure!

4. Come read through the letters and adopt a family and grant their Christmas Wish. This would be a big help! Make special memories with your children.

We have extended the hours at the Christmas Wish Office. We'll be open from 9-7. This is the last week to fill letters so we have a lot of work to be done and if you can help in any way, we'd appreciate it very much!
