I would imagine that anyone making guesses as to the answer to the question in that headline would include Louisville. And they'd be right. But Louisville isn't number one. It's not even in the top five.

Homesnacks and Roadsnacks used information from the FBI regarding violent crimes and property crimes and came up with the list.

It seems as if the list tallies cities with 5,000 or more in population so there are only 74.

And when you take a look at it, you will see cities from our part of the tri-state like Owensboro, Henderson, Leitchfield, Madisonville, and Central City.

But remember all cities above a certain population were listed.

Roadsnacks gives detailed information about the Top Ten while Homesnacks provides all 74--minus the details.

I have to admit that some of the smaller cities that rank highly on the list are surprising and some, because they're part of larger metropolitan areas, are not.
