It's here, the first full week of school for most everybody, including my niece Zoey. I got to talking with my sister recently and we discussed what time we remember going to bed on a school night. I quickly realized times have changed and we may not have set the best example. An elementary school in Kenosha, Wisconsin recently posted a handy chart to help resolve the issue. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's closer to 8:30-9:00 PM. I know I never went to bed before 10 on a school night, and my Dad, who was an teacher for 35 years, he went to bed at, oh, sometimes 4 in the morning and he would wake right back up at 7.

However, I took the bus most of the time, so I would need to be at the bus stop, which was the end of my street at no later than 7:30. School in Ohio County then started at 8:00 AM sharp.

I know after just three days, Zoey was a little tired. I just hope she gets in the groove of getting up at 6:45. Ugh! I don't know if I could do it. But then again, I do an overnight show, so...
