Zippia.com has ranked the happiest cities in Kentucky. And there must have been a cut-off point--probably based on population--since there are only 83 cities on the list.

In looking at this analysis--which factors in being well-educated, having a job, a short commute to work, low cost of living, having a family, owning a home, and the poverty rate.

So based on all of this data, Owensboro ranks...outside the top 20.

But not far.

Other cities in the Kentucky portion of the tri-state include Madisonville, Central City, Henderson, and Leitchfield.

And others (uh oh) didn't make the cut at all.

So what about you, where does your town rank in happiness?
