2016 has been an exciting year for Windy Hollow. In June, the restaurant and museum were featured in an extra-long segment on The History Channel's popular American Pickers.

Now, the Windy Hollow Country Store and Museum is getting set to open to the public for the first time in 30 years.

As someone who grew up visiting that old barn on a somewhat regular basis, this is very exciting!

And if you're as excited about this news as I am, then make your plans accordingly because the museum will only be open for ONE DAY!

And that day is Saturday, October 29th!

From 7AM until 1PM, the store will host a flea market and admission is FREE!

Now, before anyone goes, Evelyn Miller, proprietor of the restaurant and museum, wants you to know that her dad's collection is NOT for sale, with the possible exception of a VERY few items.

This is so cool!

Make your plans now, because who knows when we'll get a chance like this again?
