Gavin, our new intern here at Kiss 106, is from Evansville, IN. He’s excited to be here and ready to do just about everything. From writing articles for you to enjoy, to filming silly short videos, and even producing mini documentaries. His favorite food is monkey bread, a sweet, cinnamon-sugar, doughy bread he gets to enjoy around the holidays and other special occasions. He also has a long list of other favorites, including cookie dough ice cream, sushi, and stuffed shells. When it comes to entertainment, Gavin is a big fan of science fiction in both books and movies. He loves the ocean and, given the choice, will almost always pick a beach destination for vacation. His favorite color is robin egg blue, a mix between turquoise and sky blue, and his favorite animal is the fruit bat because, as he puts it, they’re basically "upside down small dogs with wings.” What doesn't sound great about that? You’ll rarely see Gavin without a hoodie in the winter, and in his free time, he enjoys playing a wide variety of board and card games. Two of his all-time favorites are the Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering card games. Additionally, he has one dog named Jack, a half great dane and black lab that loves to swim. Past that he’s really just trying to figure things out. Charting new territories and conquering school, this internship, and everything else life has to offer. He may not know what is next and today might even be a tossup bet he’ll get through it all the same. He hopes whatever he can make, will help to get you through the day.
