
Gordon Deal has served as the Host and face of This Morning America’s First News with Gordon Deal, since Compass Media Networks acquired the intellectual property of the program from Dow Jones in 2014. Previously, Gordon served as Host of The Wall Street Journal This Morning from 2005. A journalist and broadcaster, Gordon has held reporter and anchor positions at some of the leading media companies (CBS Radio, Dow Jones, Viacom, Westinghouse) and radio stations (1010 WINS and 880 WCBS in New York) in America. Gordon also served as a New York City bureau chief for Metro Networks where his reports aired on WOR-AM and WABC-AM. Gordon began his career in radio as a play-by-play sports announcer for Rutgers University, his alma mater. He also finds time to work as the Public Address announcer for New York Giants football and formerly Army football. His hobbies include fishing, whitewater rafting, and coaching soccer. He lives with his wife Kelly and their two children in central New Jersey
