No Car, No Problem in Chicago

Love Exploring named Chicago as one of the best cities to leave the car at home and travel on foot. For us here in the Tri-States, that’s fairly easy. Park your car at the Amtrak station (which is free) and take the train all the way to Chicago. You can walk everywhere once you arrive, or get a CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) pass to reach some of the places that might be too far for little ones to walk.

It’s nice knowing you can get away, leave the car at home (or at the train station), and not have to worry about parking, getting into an accident, or, of course, gas. You could use the money you’re saving on some fun activities in Chicago instead.
