Even in the toughest economic times, there are those who still do extremely well when it comes to getting the money to roll in, or keep rolling in. Think back to the Great Depression when things were really, really tough--while Al Capone was bringing in over $100 million in bootlegged booze cash. Granted, that was illegal money and what we're about to cover is legitimate revenue, but the point remains the same. Some places just do better, regardless of the economic climate.

There are high hopes that next year will bring about more economic prosperity, but until then, let's take a look a some Illinois-based companies that (for the most part) have had a pretty decent 2024 in the revenue department.

One note to consider is that the Illinois-based company with the highest revenue in 2024 recently made the announcement that they'd be closing over 1,200 locations across the United States.
