America’s Worst Pizza Joint Has 12 Indiana Locations
You may or may not be surprised by which pizza joint was named America's worst. I'd be willing to bet that you have been there multiple times.
Who doesn't enjoy pizza? Whether it be hand-tossed, thin crust, or deep dish, no matter what toppings you prefer, there are always some delicious go-to pizzas here in Indiana. We have so many local pizza restaurants that might not get the love that they deserve. From takeout joints and holes-in-the-wall to restaurants, diners, and cafés that serve up some tasty slices of pizza, the options are endless. Honestly, that's where I believe you will find the best pizza in Indiana, not at some of these major pizza chains.
Don't get me wrong, I have no issues with major pizza chains. In fact, a lot of those are really good. However, not all pizzas are created the same. Some are definitely better than others. While Indiana has a TON of really great places to get pizza, the Hoosier State is also home to what was recently named the worst pizza joint in the United States.

The Worst Pizza Joint in America is...
According to Taste of Home, the worst pizza joint in America is a place that we all have been to many times, especially as a kid. In fact, it's a place that is coined as the "place where kids can be a kid." If you haven't guessed by now, America's worst pizza joint is Chuck E. Cheese.
Chuck E. Cheese currently has twelve locations throughout the Hoosier State. Here's what Taste of Home had to say about Chuck E. Cheese:
You probably remember trips to Chuck E. Cheese as a kid. You can now reminisce over takeout pizza! The pizza had an unusual crust, almost like a thin cornbread, and unfortunately, it didn't travel well. The sauce was unremarkable, too. While there are definitely fond memories of games at Chuck E. Cheese growing up, the pizza seems to be less of a priority at this chain. That being said, there is some satisfaction in taking that first bite. It tastes like elementary school birthday party nostalgia.
Now look...I have some fond memories as a kid going to Chuck E. Cheese's. Let's be honest though, it's not really a place that you go to for the food. Is the pizza the best, no. However, I wouldn't say that it's terrible. Even the worst pizza is still good pizza, in my opinion. You go to Chuck E. Cheese's for the experience. You go to put a smile on your kid's face. The food is just a bonus. The last time I went there, I ordered some pizza. It really wasn't terrible. So what do you think? Is Chuck E. Cheese really America's worst pizza joint?
