Cozy Up in this Indiana City Just Named Best Winter Destination
Can you guess which Indiana city is the best winter destination?
As someone who is from a small town in Indiana, I am proud of where I come from. Boonville, Indiana is a great place to raise a family and to call home. I don't care what anyone says. Indiana is full of small towns. Most of these little towns in the state are quite charming. There's so much hometown pride in these small towns. I mention that because there's a correlation between small towns and Hallmark movies. A constant theme with the majority of Hallmark movies is small towns. Think about all of the Hallmark movies you have seen in the past, most of them are centered around small-town living. They are typically a town that could be described as a "winter wonderland." Of course, you don't have to be in a small town for it to be considered a winter destination.
Nowadays, we here in Indiana don't see as much snow around the holidays as we might like, but that doesn't mean that we don't have some "winter wonderlands" throughout the state. In fact, one website says that there is one that you have to visit this winter.

Here's what Reader's Digest had to say:
Stroll along Indy’s lovely Canal Walk, then head inside to one of the city’s many cultural attractions, such as the Indiana State Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, ranked the best family museum in the country. Starting January 21, enjoy three-course, value-priced menus at over 200 restaurants with the city’s Devour Indy event. For a more unusual dining experience, venture just outside the city to the living history museum Conner Prairie for their Hearthside Suppers, which invites guests to help prepare an authentic meal circa 1836, before feasting on it.
So, if you are looking for some winter fun in Indiana this year, maybe a trip to Indianapolis is just what you and your family need!
