Evansville’s Massive New Haunted House Announces Opening Weekend
A brand new haunted house will soon be opening its doors for those who are brave enough to enter.
Humble Beginnings Turn Into a Full-Scale Haunted House
What started as a small home haunt to raise canned food donations for local organizations eventually turned into a home haunt experience that people drove from all over to enjoy.
For over a decade, the Nightmare on Eastbrooke continued to grow, and the neighborhood where the home haunt sat would be literally shut down every Halloween due to traffic. People flocked to Nightmare on Eastbrooke because it truly was a haunt with a heart, and even though it was a home haunt, it had a very professional haunted house feel to it.
What started as a labor of love, has now turned into a full-blown passion for all things spooky. Nightmare on Eastbrooke eventually outgrew its location as a home haunt, and thus the Evansville Nightmare Factory was born, and we now have an official opening weekend!
Evansville's Newest Haunted Attraction
The Nightmare on Eastbrooke officially outgrew its humble beginnings, and the folks who run it have begun the Evansville Nightmare Factory. What was once an old empty 17,000-square-foot warehouse, is now the home of Evansville's newest haunted attraction, Evansville Nightmare Factory.
Carved from the skeleton of an old factory and forged in the dark A nightmare like never before began to feed and thrive off of all who dared face it
The location of the warehouse is: 1520 N 5th Avenue, Evansville, Indiana.
The photo below is from ENF's booth at Horror Con, imagine how much more intense the real haunt is going to be!
Official Opening Weekend Set
We're just a couple of months away from the Halloween season, and to celebrate the official countdown to Halloween, the Evansville Nightmare Factory has announced that they will be officially open on Friday, September 13th (Friday the 13th is most appropriate)! Their opening weekend will be Friday 9/13 from 7 PM to 10 PM and Saturday 9/14 from 7 PM to midnight (the graphic has 11, but the owner assured me, it's midnight).
They are also getting ready to start their actor training, so if you've ever wanted to be a haunted house actor, now is your chance! You can find more information on that, here.
Now let the nightmare begin!
