Senior Indiana Shelter Cat Still Young at Heart and Up for Adoption [PET OF THE WEEK]
This week's Pet of the Week from the Vanderburgh Humane Society is looking for a new family to spend his golden years with. Meet Bolt.
Bolt's Story
It's not uncommon for older animals like Bolt to find their way to the VHS. In many cases, they are given up for adoption because their owner was older and passed away or simply can't care for them due to their own age or health condition. That's the case with Bolt. He was surrendered to the VHS after his owner fell ill and could no longer provide him with the care he needed.
Bolt is 14 years old, but according to the VHS, his age is nothing but a number. Despite being an older cat, he still loves to play and cuddle as much as the younger cats currently calling the shelter home as you can see in the video above.
Bolt's adoption fee is $80 which covers the cost of everything all adoption fees at the VHS includes; neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchipping.
