Will Spirit Halloween Be Coming to Evansville This Year? The Answer is Yes, Here’s Where
Spirit Halloween will once again have an Evansville location, here's where.
Summerween
It may still be summer, but many online have started celebrating "Summerween." What is Summerween? Well, it's a made-up term to basically start celebrating Halloween in the summertime. Many places have already started rolling out Halloween decorations, and you've got to jump on them in the summertime because if you wait until the Halloween season, you usually run into more Christmas decor. I know, time moves fast. One iconic Halloween store is Spirit Halloween, and it looks like once again we'll be getting a Spirit Halloween in Evansville.
Spirit Halloween
Spirit Halloween is a seasonal store that pops up every Halloween season in different cities. They're well known for opening stores in the spaces of closed businesses and occupying that space for a temporary time. They specialize in all things Halloween, from costumes to animatronics, decorations, and more. With the popularity of the Halloween season exploding over the past couple of decades, Spirit Halloween has become an iconic part of the Halloween holiday. In fact, there was even a movie made about the store that came out in 2022. Over the past few years Spirit Halloween has had stores in the Evansville area, and it looks like 2024 will be no different.
Spirit Halloween in Evansville
Each year the Spirit Halloween locations have moved around the Evansville-area, but according to Spirit Halloween's website, there will be a Spirit Halloween opening in the old Tuesday Morning location at 217 North Green River Road.
When Will Spirit Halloween Open?
The Spirit Halloween website doesn't share any details except that the Evansville location is "coming soon." In the past it would seem that mid-late August is usually when the store would quietly open, so my bet is in the coming weeks, we'll start to see the store open.
The only confirmed opening date I could find on the Spirit Halloween website is that their flagship store in New Jersey is hosting their grand opening for the season on August 1st, so this tells me that the smaller stores across the country should be opening soon! The countdown to Halloween is officially on!
