Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest. Then you have your go-to fast food restaurants. As you know, there are so many to choose from here in Indiana. Burgers, tacos, pizza, and other sandwiches at these fast food chains in the state are the perfect meal when you're in a rush.

According to Eat This Not That, the most popular fast food chain in the United States is one that was founded in Illinois but hast 197 locations in Indiana. If by some chance, you guessed Dairy Queen, you would be correct.

I'll be honest, Dairy Queen is one of those places that I just never think to go to. The kids love getting Blizzards every now and then but as far as the food goes, we just never go there. Granted, I might be bitter because they discontinued the mushroom swiss burger. It certainly isn't the fast food chain that I would have considered as the most popular in the United States. What about you?
