Only Three Indiana Taco Joints Make Yelps Top 100 List in 2025

Out of all the places in the country that you can order tacos from, there are only three places in Indiana worthy of Yelp's Top 100 Taco Spots for 2025.

Who doesn't love a good taco? They are comfort foods that have become so popular, they even have a specific day of the week to eat them. Whether it's a soft or hard shell, there are so many ways you can prepare them. You can stuff them with chicken, steak, ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, rice, beans, pico, guacamole...you get the idea.

Yelp just dropped its Top 100 Taco Spots in the United States for 2025. California occupied 45 out of the 100 places, including taking the top spot with a restaurant located in North Hollywood. A lot of spots were also taken by Texas and Arizona. However, there was enough room on that list for three taco joints in Indiana. So, which three taco joints in Indiana are among the best according to Yelp? Let's take a look.

Three Indiana Taco Spots Make Yelp's Top 100

Yelp's Top 100 Taco Spots in 2025 surprisingly only had three taco spots in Indiana. However, what's even more surprising is that all three spots are located in Indianapolis. We have great places to get tacos all throughout the state, and I find it hard to believe that the best are all in Indianapolis. In any event, these are the taco spots in Indiana that made Yelp's list.

Coming in at number 41 on the list is the highest-rated taco spot for Indiana. That spot belongs to Tlaolli in Indianapolis. This place offers up some pretty unique tacos, I must say. It was actually featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" in the past.

Not too far behind Tlaolli on Yelp's list is  Chris’ Ice Cream, coming in at number 46. Don't let the name fool you, Chris' Ice Cream also offers Mexican food, and judging by the photos of their tacos on their Facebook page, it looks like my kind of restaurant.

Finally, the taco spot that landed at number 89 on the list is Julieta Taco Shop, also located in Indianapolis. This place is a very authentic Mexican restaurant. The tacos look very fancy too!
