Canadian Punk Band Robbed After Indiana Show

Hardcore punk band Cancer Bats took to social media to share the devastating news that their van, trailer, gear, and merch were stolen after their April 20, 2025, show in Indianapolis.

Just Days Into Their Tour

The band had just begun its tour a few nights earlier on the 17th.  According to their post, the van and trailer were taken from the hotel parking lot after their show. While the van itself has been recovered, it is worse for wear with a damaged ignition and busted window.

Trailer, Gear, and Merch Still Missing

The trailer, along with all of the band's musical equipment and gear, and their merchandise, is still missing. Cancer Bats have shared photos of their missing gear on their Facebook page in the event that any of it ends up for sale somewhere in or around the Indianapolis area. *See photos of the missing gear below

Cancelled Show, But Tour Continues

The incident has forced the Toronto, Ontario rockers to cancel their show tonight at the Red Flag in Saint Louis, Missouri. The band says they expect to perform on Tuesday night in Madison, Wisconsin, at the High Noon Saloon.

All our gear and merch was stolen last night!! It’s a major bummer. We unfortunately have to cancel our show at @redflagstlvenue tonight in Indianapolis due to our van being totally f***ed by the f**ks that robbed us. But we should be back in action for Tuesdays show in Madison Wi!
We will post pictures and Info about the stolen gear soon. So peeps in the Indiana area please keep an eye out. We had some cool sh*t!!
