One of Indiana's most famous and successful celebrities, John Mellencamp, or if you're closer to my age, John Cougar Mellencamp, will return to Evansville's Old National Events Plaza. A native of Seymour, Indiana, John Mellencamp is on the road for his much-anticipated "Live and in Person 2023" tour.

76 Shows in North America

The tour features 76 shows throughout North America, including a number of shows in Indiana. The tour kicked off with a two-night stint in Bloomington, Indiana on February 5 and 6, and will wrap up with two nights in South Bend, Indiana on June 23 and 24. In between those dates, John Mellencamp will make a stop in Downtown Evansville for a two-night visit as well.

Mellencamp's Permanent R&R Hall of Fame Exhibit

Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp is part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Legends of Rock exhibit. Visitors will be able to see artifacts including the suit that he wore in his promotional photos for the 2003 album Trouble No More, as well as his 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom guitar that he has used to play onstage throughout his career, and the studio tracking chart for “Jack and Diane” from 1981.
