Is it just me, or do many people in Illinois have a quick temper? One little thing can send someone into a major rage episode. A lot of residents are just plain rude to each other. I wish we could all get along. The world would be a much better place to live.

An Elmhurst man got physical with a younger man last month in an elevator at Elmhurst Hospital, police said.

 

The 60-year-old then grabbed the younger man by the front of his shirt, pulled the 20-year-old toward him, and then pushed him back, according to the report.

 

The 60-year-old was cited on a battery charge. Police said they uploaded photos of red marks on the younger man.

A young man and his mother were in a hospital elevator. The door opened, and an older gentleman was waiting to get on. He was rude to the lady, so the son told the suspect not to speak to his mother that way. Then, the old dude grabbed the kid.

The son and mother called the police, and he was arrested. His excuse was that he was having a bad day. Well, that's no excuse in my book to go after someone physically. Being polite and nice could have made this situation so much better.
