America’s Best Chicken Chain Has 39 Locations in Illinois—Have You Tried It?

It looks like Rockford just got in when the getting's really good, if you know what I mean. I happened upon Delish's list of America's favorite restaurants and saw this blurb about the best chicken joints in the country.

Well, I was not sure what to think when I saw America's favorite chain restaurant go to Chick-fil-A. After that, the fastest-growing chain award went to Hangry Joe's, and then the best to-go chain was WingStop. I expected to see one of those three pick up the award for best chicken chain, too.

Raising Cane’s Crowned Best Chicken Chain in America

I was gladly wrong, as Raising Cane's was named America's best chicken chain. Based on the lines and the hype around Raising Cane's coming to The Forest City, it seems like the honor is well deserved. To me, it's not much, but maybe I haven't had the "Cane's Sauce" enough times to make me daydream like I hear about from hardcore Raising Cane's devotees.

There are 39 Raising Cane's locations in Illinois, ranking third in the United States behind Ohio and Louisiana for the most in America. I can't see the fast-food chicken chain getting any smaller right now in the state either, as I just have a feeling there will be even more Raising Cane's coming to The Land of Lincoln in the future.
