2024 Boonville Christmas Parade Date + Boonvillage Theme
Celebrating the Magic of Boonville’s Christmas Parade
This morning, Facebook reminded me of a memory from two years ago—my daughter’s first parade! She rode on a float with her 4H group in the Boonville Christmas parade, and it felt like such a big deal at the time. But last year, we took it up a notch when she got to ride her horse in the parade, and honestly, nothing can top that!
Last year's theme was Whoville, so my daughter dressed up as Cindy Lou Who in a pink onesie, while her horse Tuck, who's always a bit of a grouch, went as the Grinch. She teamed up with her friend Taylor, who rode her horse Bailey, and they had an absolute blast! They even got to escort Santa through the parade—talk about VIP treatment!
Get Ready for a Charlie Brown Christmas at Boonvillage 2024
It's hard to believe that it's that time of year again. I was curious about this year's parade, so I checked out the Boonville Merchant Association's Facebook page. They announced back in August that the Christmas Parade is set for Sunday, December 8th, and Christmas in Boonvillage will be celebrated on the 6th, 7th, and 8th. And here’s the exciting part—the theme for this year’s Christmas in Boonvillage is a Charlie Brown Christmas! Time to get creative! I happen to be a HUGE Charlie Brown fan and have lots of fun ideas all ready to go. Tucker will be so excited.
Throwback to Last Year’s Whoville-Themed Parade Fun
Last year's Boonvillage was such a blast! They had ice skating, a horse-drawn carriage, meet-and-greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus tons of fun activities and great photo opps. I can’t wait to see what surprises they have lined up for us this year!
