Meet Foxy, a Spunky Corgi Mix That’s Adoptable in Warrick County
Meet Foxy: The Adorable Heeler/Corgi Mix Available for Adoption
If you're looking for a super cute dog with loads of personality that's already trained, check out Foxy! She’s available for adoption at the Warrick Humane Society.
Foxy's Unique Look and Personality
Foxy is a two-year-old, medium-sized Heeler/Corgi mix. Her Corgi head gives her a fox-like face, and her Heeler body completes the look. Foxy’s name is a perfect fit because she’s as cute as a button!
Foxy's Story: From Stray to Shelter
Originally found as a stray in Union County, KY, Foxy was not reclaimed and was put up for adoption. She came to the Warrick Humane Society from Union County Animal Control. While she’s been adopted twice, it didn’t work out both times. Once she was returned due to her not getting along with other dogs, and again when her adopter decided to move.
Foxy’s Personality and Behavior
Foxy has a big personality and is incredibly intelligent. She loves playing fetch, going for walks, and would thrive with an active family who appreciates her working dog instincts and fun nature. The staff reports that she’s housetrained, crate-trained, enjoys riding in the car, and loves snuggling with people. She can be selective with other dogs, so meet-and-greets and trial visits are encouraged.

Health and Adoption Information
Foxy is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention. She’s microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative. Ready to bring some fun and love into your home? Come meet Foxy today at the Warrick Humane Society!
