Benefit Ride Fundraiser Planned for Western Kentucky Father Injured in Motorcycle Accident
There's a benefit ride fundraiser planned in Owensboro for Kyle Spencer and his family after he was injured last month in a motorcycle accident. Kyle suffered serious injuries and is currently on the mend. The event will help cover medical and travel costs.
Accidents involving motorcycles like this are happening far too often. Whether the driver of the vehicle is distracted, driving recklessly, or failing to yield the right of way, around 75% of car/motorcycle accidents are caused by the vehicle driver.
According to MIGHTY, more than 80% of the time it will end in serious injury or fatality. Even though they only represent 3% of all vehicles on the road, motorcycles account for 10% of all traffic fatalities.
Luckily, Kyle will completely recover after his accident on 5/25/2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He suffered a shattered leg and a ton of road rash and is the provider for his house., Dad Carmen Spencer shared at the time on social media
